StarCrop is an iOS camera app that lets you record in 4:3 and export cropped clips in 16:9 or 9:16. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Permissions

Device Permissions

StarCrop requests the following permissions. None of this data is sent externally.

• Camera — Used to record video. Footage is stored only on your device and never transmitted to any server.
• Microphone — Used to record audio alongside video. Audio data is stored only on your device.
• Photo Library — Used to save recorded and exported videos to your camera roll and the StarCrop album.

Data

Data We Store

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Recorded video files (in your Photo Library)
• Export history and app preferences (in local device storage)
• Purchase status (managed by Apple and associated with your Apple ID)

StarCrop does not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools that transmit data to third parties.

In-App Purchase

Purchases

StarCrop offers in-app purchases (subscription and one-time) through the App Store. All billing is handled by Apple Inc. StarCrop never accesses or stores your payment information or credit card details.

Children

Children's Privacy

StarCrop is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
